Mohan Thomas Impressive debut. Clean sound. The chemistry between Lefaivre and Vinuela-Pelletier is obvious. Nelson is the perfect drummer to round out the trio on this record. Really intelligent and lyrical compositions on dope changes. Maybe I'm crazy, but I hear some hip hop influences (think Dilla). Super tight, sophisticated sound, and best of all, isn't just some academic exercise - they LOVE to vamp. Go see them live!
